Chuck Video from SDCC…
For those of us, myself included who have been awaiting for Season 2 of Chuck to begin, this should wet our whistle.
A hush fell over the crowd…
Yes.
The rumors are true.
Bob C did, in fact, actually, go see a The Dark Knight at the Providence Place IMAX with myself and Paul C.
The age old argument of Bob C never being home to actually go see a movie with his friends has been voided.
Now, if only we could actually get him to stay in the state for more than 2 frickin’ days…
As for the movie, Paul has eaten his hat and said it was fantastically amazing. Calling Ledger’s performance of the Joker, creepy at times. And, creepy is a good thing. He recommends everyone go see it including non-comic book fans since it’s a very non-comic book movie.
But, whatever you do, make sure you buy tickets a head of time. Aim for Row L. To the left of seats 112, 111, 110.
The 310pm showing we went to and the 6pm were sold out by the time we walked in at 245 and a couple were having the “why didn’t you buy tickets a head of time” arguement as we walked out.
Friday Night Ramblin’…
New Venture Bros. Episode has been posted at Adult Swim.
Terry Goodkind’s Wizard’s First Rule has been translated into a television show entitled The Legend of the Seeker. The trailer looks pretty cool. And they’ve even started a blog.
And, supposedly an extended trailer of Watchmen made it’s debut at SDCC. Hopefully, it will show up shortly for the rest of us.
Brotherhood begins filming on Monday…
Showtime’s Brotherhood begins filming in Rhode Island on Monday.
Charles on 94 WHJY has been interviewing actor Ethan Embry and creator Blake Masters since Season 1 occasionally on a weekly basis.
Season 2 DVD arrives in October 28th. Season 3 begins in November.
The open casting call on Sunday over at the Atrium Gallery went well, I think.
Although some people would think differently, while awaiting in line one of the other extras explained to the people in front of us exactly how much an extra makes per hour versus SAG.
The person promptly declared why was she still in line, she dropped off her non-perishable can goods at the desk, handed back in her uncompleted form and stalked out.
The LDI Casting people manning the form stable and the rest of us tried to keep a straight face.
Lesson One about being extra: One should not be looking for fortune and glory. It is all about the experience.
It bein’ Thursday an’ all…

Nice Pencil Trick…
…yeah.
It rocked.
I highly recommend seeing it at an IMAX. Make sure to order tickets online and get there early. Don’t drink any water before hand. LOTR drinking rules apply.
I’d also highly recommend reading Year One and The Long Halloween before or after seeing the movie.
It bein’ Tuesday an’ all…
