All Hallow’s Eve…

all-hallows-eve

“Darkness falls across the land

The midnite hour is close at hand

Creatures crawl in search of blood

To terrorize yawls neighbourhood

And whosoever shall be found

Without the soul for getting down

Must stand and face the hounds of hell

And rot inside a corpses shell

The foulest stench is in the air

The funk of forty thousand years

And grizzy ghouls from every tomb

Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive

Your body starts to shiver

For no mere mortal can resist

The evil of the thriller…” - Vincent Price - Michael Jackson’s Thriller, 1984. Dir. John Landis

Digital Photography Class…

When we received our class schedules, no one toll us exactly why we had double classes here and there.

It took several people to explain the holiday schedule. I’ve already suggested getting our schedules first then having a sit down with one of the advisors exlaining the holidays so this question doesn’t have to be asked over and over and over.

So, with any sort of holidays popping up on the schedule the conflicting class gets moved to Friday.

My Digital Photography Class has this happening to them on the Friday before Thanksgiving Break.

This is not due to Veterns Day. That’s for my Design 1 Class.

The reason why we have Digital Photography Class Twice in one week is because the class supposedly runs from 545pm to 1045pm.

If the class ran from 545pm to 11pm like it should then we wouldn’t need to meet the Friday before Thanksgiving Break.

Yes, we have to make up one class due to missing those lovely 15mins spread out over 10 weeks.

Yeh, the teacher was amazed as we were…

Digital Imaging…

…consisted of the class each getting a Nikon D70s signed out and then being let loose upon campus and surrounding area for an hour to take pictures on Auto (point and shoot) while the sun was still out.

So, if you see me on Post Rd taking pictures on Wednesday Nights you know why.

Out of the class of the two of us have Digital Rebel XTs and one of us has a Nikon D200. The good news for the people who don’t have cameras once we get deeper into the semester the cameras can be signed out for the weekend.

At least one of us managed to get a picture of a bunny, a few SWA Flights taking off, the Amtrack Train roaring by, the traffic cop and the fishies the occupy the little pond near the bookstore.

I’ll post some of the better pictures later…

Design 1 Class…

So, after Algebra Class came Design 1 Class.

To say that 24″ iMac monitors are rather large would an understatement.

The class was much smaller than my Algebra Class and there was less of “when’s the teacher getting here?”.

Our teacher even has his own Design Company, Imagery Studio and judging from the poll more than a few of us have Digital Imaging and Digital Graphics together.

Tomorrow’s Digital Imaging Class should be interesting, judging from the syllabus it’s the OS/Digtal SLR class that supposedly runs until 1040pm…
