LOST: Expose Spoilers…
After the last three episode being so good last nights was good but could have been better…
The insertion of our two “who the hell are you/where the hell did you come from?” castaways into previous scenes was extremely well done, it almost felt like they pulled a flashback from How I Met Your Mother.
For those who haven’t seen HIMYM (which supposedly may or may not be on the bubble due to an Stupid Exec “doesn’t get it”), occasionally this season there have been episodes where a quick flashback to a previous season happens and everyone looks like they’re supposed to look for that one season.
Anyway.
Billy Dee Williams!
Forget Sawyer, Hurley, Jin and Charlie’s as the Star Wars Quartet! Lando! Oozing charm everywhere!
Once Jolene Blalock’s flashback w/ Saywer arrives I think this show has officially had guest stars from geekdom: Star Wars, Trek, Firefly, T2, the only show we’re missing is Stargate.
The amount of dead people that showed up this week shows that even though you died they can always fly said actor back out for three days of filming. Gotta wonder if it’s a good thing they killed off the characters so they can re-appear for a brief scene.
The amount of traveling these two did to Eko brother’s plane to the Pearl Station was nice nod to past events. It could have come off as a bad clip show but the constant traveling these two did helped a bunch.
The bad part was this: Ethan. Ethan showing up and dangling a great idea. Why didn’t The Others turn these two because it would have explained why all of sudden they just showed up. To see them huddled together fearing for their lives when Charlie kills Ethan in the rain during Season 1. Or, when Jack and Co meet up with The Others while hunting Michael during Season 2. Instead, the writers take the easy way out.
Most of the LOST loving peeps at work debated whether they’re both dead, how deep the graves were and how heavy the sand was. If these events don’t lead up to a “Their graves are empty!” scene than the writers once again take the easy way out and let a great plotline die too soon.
As for the whole evil Charlie kidnapping Sun storyline from Season 2, I was wondering when they were going to get to that. Another plot line they took the easy way out to create false tension.
Tension is the only thing keeping this show alive right now and hopefully with half the cast with The Others, the tension with the Beachers will continue to make it worth watching.Â
